A woman’s body has been discovered in a suitcase near a rural road.
NSW Police were called to Wolgon Road at Oallen, about 61km southeast of Goulburn, shortly before 1pm on Sunday.
Officers from the Hume police district found the body, believed to be female, near Oallen Ford Road.
It’s understood the remains were found by a member of the public.
A crime scene was established and the suitcase was seized for forensic examination.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances around the death.
The body has not been formally identified.
Police haven’t released details on how long the remains were in place.
