Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central and Western Region have qualified to semis of KGL U-17 Colts Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central and Western Region have qualified to semis of KGL U-17 Colts

The 2025 KGL U17 Inter-Regional Colts Championship reaches a thrilling climax on Thursday, September 25, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, with two blockbuster semi-final fixtures set to decide the finalists.

Unbeaten Group A winners Greater Accra will square off against Group B runners-up Ashanti Region in the opening clash set for 1pm local time.

The capital side have been in imperious form throughout the tournament, but Ashanti’s resilience and attacking flair promise a fiercely contested encounter as both teams fight for a place in Saturday’s grand finale, scheduled to take place at McDan Astro Turf, Teshie.

The second semi-final will feature an equally tantalizing showdown between Group B champions Central Region and defending titleholders Western Region.

Central, who staged a remarkable turnaround to finish top of their group, will carry strong momentum into the match, while Western Region bring experience and the confidence of reigning champions to the decisive tie.

The winners of Thursday’s matches will advance to the championship final on Saturday, September 27, at the McDan Astro Turf, where Ghana’s premier youth football title awaits.
