General Manager of Accra Great Olympics, Eric Alagidede has claimed that his club is the biggest in Ghana after city rivals Hearts of Oak and Kumasi-based Asante Kotoko.
Eric Alagidede who described the Dade Boys as the third force in Ghana football said after Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, Accra Great Olympics is the only club in Ghana to have won the Premier League title and the FA Cup trophy on two occasions each.
He said in an interview on Asempa FM that being in the Division One League is a temporal situation because they will soon bounce back and claim their rightful place in the Ghana Premier League.
“So far, I’m enjoying my time and it’s been good so far and I’m very happy about the progress made. There is hope because the preseason looks good and we will soon bounce back because as the third force in Ghana football we need to be back in the Ghana Premiere League.”

“We are the only club after Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko to have won two Premier League titles and two FA Cup trophies so if I say we are the third force, I’m only speaking facts and not making a claim,” Eric Alagidede said on Asempa FM.
He added that Olympics will make a big statement about their readiness ahead of the new season when they face off against rivals Hearts of Oak in the 2025 Democracy Cup on Friday, August 29.
