Grammys live: Trevor Noah takes swipe at Nicki Minaj’s MAGA ties as Justin Bieber looks unimpressed as he’s called out by host

The best of the music industry are gathered in Los Angeles for the 68th annual Grammy Awards.

Comedian Trevor Noah is hosting the show for his sixth consecutive and final time, taking aim at Nicki Minaj‘s absence from the show.

‘She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues,’ Noah said. He then impersonated Trump, asking: ‘Who has the biggest ass?’

This year’s show will feature a special segment in which all eight of the best new artist nominees will perform.

Bruno Mars, Rosé, Tyler, the Creator, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Clipse and Pharrell Williams will also perform.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with nine total, and if he snags at least four, he will surpass Jay-Z’s record of 25 awards for the most Grammy wins.

Ahead of the main event, the Premiere Ceremony was held where categories such as best audiobook narration were awarded.
