The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has landed a groundbreaking collaboration that marks a major milestone for Ghanaian football.

GFA President Kurt Okraku says the partnership will yield significant benefits for Ghana Premier League clubs during his address at the launch on July 31, 2025.

“As part of our new approach and through this partnership, each one of our GPL clubs will before the start of the season receive their bound of a million Ghana cedis before the start of the season,” he said.

Each Ghana Premier League club will receive GH¢ 1 million before the start of the season, ensuring a stable financial foundation for all participating teams.

Clubs will get money based on where they finish in the league, which should boost competition and motivate teams to perform at their best.

The partnership is designed to increase the financial clout of Ghana Premier League clubs, which could draw in more investments and sponsorships for football.

The GFA hopes that financial stability will reduce the rate at which top players leave the league to keep local talent and attract foreign players.

The GFA’s partnership shows its dedication to advancing Ghanaian football and giving clubs and players more support.

The Ghana Premier League is set for growth and greater visibility.

The GFA’s partnerships with other companies highlight its commitment to boosting Ghanaian football.
