Nigerian Gospel singer Pelumi Deborah was overwhelmed by a surging crowd of LAUTECH students when she visited the university for a ministration.

The gospel singer was visiting the university for a sermon, and upon making her entrance into the venue where the program was held, things took an unexpected turn.

Waiting for her by the entrance was an enthused crowd of LAUTECH students, all pushing and clamoring to meet her. They crowded the entrance and converged upon her, all in a desperate attempt to meet the singer.

Although she was surrounded by guards, they were not enough to hold back the surging crowd of students. This led to the singer being engulfed by the crowd and even losing her wig in the process.

Thankfully, one of the guards managed to retrieve her wig after he had safely passed through the crowd, allowing her to wear it back and proceed with the sermon, despite the ordeal she had just faced.

The video has drawn mixed reactions from netizens who, while happy for the amount of attention Pelumi received, were concerned about her safety.
