Bibiani Gold Stars have climbed to the summit of the Ghana Premier League standings after a victory against Aduana Stars.

The team from Bibiani over the weekend hosted the Dormaa-based club in their Week 7 fixture of the 2024/25 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Following an impressive showing throughout the 90 minutes, Gold Stars triumphed with a 2-0 victory to amass all three points.

The win has propelled the team to take the top spot in the Ghana Premier League table.

The team is on 15 points after seven games and leads Asante Kotoko and Medeama Sporting Club, the teams in second and third positions with one point.

The other team making up the top four is Berekum Chelsea with 13 points from seven games.

It is important to note that the team in second, Asante Kotoko has a game in hand. If the Porcupine Warriors win that match, they will overtake Bibiani Gold Stars at the top.

Meanwhile, Young Apostles, Dreams FC, and Legon Cities are currently in the relegation zone.
