Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has encouraged goalkeeper Benjamin Asare to remain faithful in God ahead of the Black Stars’ game against Comoros in the World Cup qualifiers.
Asare recently debuted a new haircut featuring symbols associated with the musician.
In a video that went viral on social media, Asare faded the lower part of his hair and etched Wale’s slogan, “SM 4LYF,” along with his signature pose into the design.

The Black Stars’ number one goalkeeper was seen smiling and striking the signature pose with his hand as the camera captured the moment.
In response, Shatta Wale assured the Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper that he has the full support of the Shatta Movement fan base across the country.
The music star urged Asare not to be shaken by criticism or challenges, affirming that God is on his side regardless of the circumstances.
“Benjamin Asare – God is here so no fear at all …SM deh ur back,” Wale wrote on his Facebook page on October 11, 2025.
Asare’s new haircut has stirred mixed reactions from the public as the Black Stars prepare to face Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 12, 2025.
