Nollywood actor Gbenro Ajibade boldly declares his new milestone after officially becoming a citizen of the United States.

In an Instagram post, Gbenro shared images of himself at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, holding a magazine that said: “Congratulations on becoming a U.S. citizen.”

In the caption, he proudly stated that God enabled him to become a citizen.

The actor was married to his colleague, Osas Ighodaro and they welcomed a daughter together before their divorce.

Colleagues and admirers of the actor have joined him in celebrating a new milestone with congratulatory messages flooding the comment section.

While some frowned at his decision to publicize his citizenship, others suggested he appreciates his ex-wife since she is a Nigerian-American citizen.

Netizens mentioned that the actor should be prepared to pay taxes as he becomes an official citizen.
