Kwaku Manu (R) says God asked him to give Adwoa Smart (L) a plot of land Kwaku Manu (R) says God asked him to give Adwoa Smart (L) a plot of land

Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu, has explained his reason for gifting veteran actress Adwoa Smart a plot of land.

In a video shared on social media on August 6, 2025, Kwaku Manu said he gifted the actress a land out of goodwill and also for her contribution to the movie industry.

He explained that, prior to this development, Adwoa Smart had earlier informed him about a land and the fact that she needed assistance with putting up a building on it.

According to Kwaku Manu, he wasn’t satisfied with the location of the actress’ land, hence prompting his decision to gift her a plot of land.

“Before we started the interview, she informed me about her land in Dodowa. We went to have a look at it. When I got there, the land was in a marshy area. And it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to plead with Ghanaians to support her to build at that place.

“I told her I had a land in Amasaman satellite and if she is interested. I would gift it to her. When we got there, she was happy with the location,” he said.

The actor added that he would like to assist the actress by building a two-bedroom house on the land.

“God is the one who asked me to gift her the land. I didn’t have it in mind to gift her the land. But based on what she said. That prompted me to do that.

“After the interview, I did a TikTok live asking Ghanaians to assist me so I can build a two-bedroom for her,” he added.
