The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has congratulated Samson Deen on his resounding re-election as President of the African Paralympic Committee (APC).

Samson Deen on Sunday, November 9, 2025, won his re-election with a resounding victory at the African Paralympic Committee General Assembly in Accra.

The GOC while congratulating Samson Deen labeled his victory as unprecedented after securing 38 out of the 40 votes cast.

The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), the ultimate custodian of the Olympic Movement in Ghana, proudly extends its profound congratulations to Sampson Deen, the President of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC), on his emphatic re-election as the President of the African Paralympic Committee (APC).

Securing a staggering 38 out of 40 votes at the 2025 African Paralympic General Assembly in Accra, Deen’s renewed mandate is an unprecedented vote of confidence from the African para sports community.

It serves as a resounding affirmation of his visionary leadership, transformative agenda, and the significant progress achieved during his first term, including the successful hosting of the inaugural African Para Games in Ghana.

Samson Deen’s continued leadership at the helm of the APC is a source of immense national pride, strengthening Ghana’s influential voice in continental and global sports administration.
