Dr. Gideon Boako, the parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Tano North Constituency, gave 15 footballs and 12 sets of jerseys to the football teams in Duayaw Nkwanta as a show of goodwill and community development.

The donation, which was given during a quick but exciting ceremony, is an attempt to help local sports and give new talent a chance to flourish.

In addition to expressing his excitement for the project, Dr. Boako emphasised the value of promoting sports as a unifying activity within the population.

Football fans and local residents were really excited about the event and showed up in large numbers to see it. The local football teams’ leaders expressed their appreciation, emphasising how the donation will greatly improve their readiness for future competitions.

They contend that giving athletes top-notch gear and uniforms encourages them to perform with pride and professionalism in addition to providing them with motivation. Speaking to the audience, Dr. Boako reaffirmed his dedication to Tano North’s growth and said that athletics can inspire young people and foster communal cooperation.

He told the teams that he would continue to support them in similar initiatives and urged them to utilise the given products to the fullest.

The parliamentary candidate also took advantage of the occasion to interact with guests, hearing their issues and talking about other local development goals.

Many have hailed the gesture as a considerate move that demonstrates Dr. Boako’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the constituency. As they anticipate more partnerships, it is anticipated that the gesture would not only revitalise sports in Duayaw Nkwanta but also deepen the ties that bind the candidate and the community.
