Thirty-two players have been invited to camp as the Black Princesses step up preparations for their final-round qualifier against Uganda in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup campaign.
Head coach Yusif Basigi has handed maiden call-ups to Jennifer Dawah of Epiphany Warriors and Veronica Baah of Hasaacas Ladies, as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the decisive tie.
Ghana booked their place in the final round after edging past South Africa 3-2 on aggregate, keeping alive hopes of an eighth consecutive appearance at the global tournament.
The Black Princesses will host Uganda in Accra during the weekend of May 1–3, 2026, before travelling for the return leg in Kampala. The team is scheduled to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Sunday, March 29, to begin intensive training.
Victory over Uganda will secure Ghana’s qualification to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, set to be staged in Poland from September 5 to 27, 2026.
