Ghana’s only female representative at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah is poised to make history in the women’s high jump.

Yeboah’s journey started in Kumasi where her raw talent was identified at a school competition. Her skills were horned at the University of Cape Coast and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she trained under top coaches.

On June 8, 2024, Rose Yeboah was awarded the NCAA outdoor high jump national title with a 1.97m jump.

She gained her first international experience in the XIV African U20 Championships in Abidjan in 2019, where she won the gold medal in high jump with a height of 1.83 m.
