Ghanaian kickboxer, Michael Boapeah, is facing Donovan Wisse as they slug it out for the World Middleweight title in England on June 14, 2025.

The match will take place at Rotterdam Ahoy in England (Enter Date) and is expected to be a closely contested encounter for glory.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb Sports on June 13, 2025, ahead of the match, Boapeah noted that he has adequately prepared for the match and is highly optimistic of a win.

“It’s going to be a great fight, and I’m going to win, representing Ghana. I’ve done my best and trained harder than ever before, so I’m sure I’ll win,” he told Benjamin Sackey.

The kickboxer called on Ghanaians to rally their support behind him and remember him in their prayers to help him emerge victorious and make the nation proud.

“I want Ghanaians to support and pray for me to come out safely with the gold. After winning the match, I’ will bring the title to Ghana to show love to the people,” he added.
