Charles Osei Asibey has been re-elected as the Vice president of the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF).
The veteran sports journalist won his re-election bid at the 47th Congress of the World Armwrestling Federation in Albena, Bulgaria.
The President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation will continue his stewardship on the global scene until 2029.

“I am giddy, elated and poised to further influence the development and promotion of Armwrestling to new heights, leveraging on my network to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in the sport,” Charles Osei Asibey said after his victory.
Charles Osei Assibey is also the President of the Armwrestling Federation in Africa.
In 2024, he led his Golden Arms to deliver 41 medals for Ghana at the 13th African Games hosted in Africa — with 8 gold, 19 silver, and 14 bronze medals.
