Coach Annor Walker coached Accra Great Olympics

Ghanaians have taken to social media to pay tributes to the late former Black Galaxies head coach, Daniel Annor Walker.

Walker’s death has sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian football fraternity, where he is widely respected for his tactical discipline, resilience and immense contribution to the local game.

According to multiple media reports, Annor Walker passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The 65-year-old technical brain had been suffering from an unknown illness at the time of his death on Wednesday.

At the time of his passing, he was serving as Technical Advisor for Ghana Premier League side Vision FC.

Former Black Galaxies coach Annor Walker is dead

Annor Walker before his death coached several Ghanaian clubs including Accra Great Olympics, Nania FC, Berekum Chelsea, Heart of Lions, Bibiani Gold Stars, Vision FC and also managed the Black Galaxies at the national level.
