Ghanaian forward Prince Amoako Junior

Ghanaian forward Prince Amoako Junior continued his fine run of form in the Danish Superliga, scoring his fifth league goal of the season in FC Nordsjaelland’s 4-2 defeat to Odense BK on Sunday November 2, 2025 at the Right to Dream Park.

Nordsjaelland started brightly and were rewarded in the 16th minute when midfielder Nicklas Rojkjaer opened the scoring to give the hosts an early advantage.

However, the visitors hit back immediately after the breakthrough Jay-Roy Grot, who levelled the score just a few minutes into the second half.

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu then put Odense ahead in the 53rd minute, completing the turnaround.

Nordsjaelland responded swiftly, with Amoako restoring parity in the 64th minute after connecting neatly with a pass from Finnish teenager Juho Lahteenmaki.

Despite Amoako’s efforts, Odense proved too strong in the latter stages.

Grot struck twice in the 78th and 89th minutes to seal victory for the visitors and complete a brilliant hat-trick.

The defeat is a setback for Nordsjaelland, but Amoako’s form remains a major positive.

The Ghanaian youngster has now amassed five goals and two assists in the 2025/26 campaign, underlining his growing influence in Denmark’s top flight.

Compatriots Caleb Yirenkyi and Stephen Acquah also played the full 90 minutes for Nordsjaelland.
