Ghanaian sprinter Enoch Fosuhene delivered a commanding performance to qualify for the men’s 60m final at the Southland Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, posting the fastest time in the preliminary rounds.

Representing East Texas A&M University, Fosuhene clocked an impressive 6.73 seconds to top the 60m field, underlining his explosive start and sharp acceleration. The time places him as the favourite heading into the final, as he chases a major conference title in the United States collegiate circuit.

The Ghanaian was equally dominant in the 200m, cruising through his heat in 21.19 seconds to secure automatic qualification with the second fastest overall time. His strong showing across both sprint events positions him as a serious contender for a potential double at the championships.

Fosuhene’s performances continue a steady rise in form this indoor season, reinforcing his reputation as one of Ghana’s promising sprint talents abroad. With momentum firmly on his side, attention now turns to whether he can convert his preliminary dominance into gold medals in both events.
