Controversial broadcaster, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, has confidently stated that Ghanaian soldiers cannot match up to soldiers from Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea.

According to him, Ghanaian soldiers are deeply afraid of their colleagues from these three West African countries.

Speaking on his Onua Maakye show on Onua TV, which was monitored by GhanaWeb, Captain Smart stated that a single soldier from Mali could kill 3,000 Ghanaian soldiers. Additionally, he mentioned that the training for Ghanaian soldiers is outdated.

“Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea soldiers are not ordinary soldiers. Ghanaian soldiers are afraid of them; I am stating it plainly. If Ghanaian soldiers engage Malian soldiers in warfare, all the Ghanaian soldiers will be killed. One Malian soldier can kill 3,000 Ghanaian soldiers. I am telling you plainly. Ghanaian soldiers are trained using 1844 tactics at the Achiase Jungle Warfare Training School. Our soldiers don’t undergo proper training; they only climb trees and jump down, just jumping gutters here and there. Soldiers from Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea are guerillas. When you shoot at them, they don’t die. You’ve seen the videos of those soldiers where machetes were put to their throats but didn’t cut them. Go to Burma Camp with just one machete and you’ll kill over 300 Ghanaian soldiers in uniform,” Captain Smart stated.

He continued: “Look, we need to speak the truth. I always say, ‘Hurt me with the truth, don’t comfort me with lies.’ This is my principle in life. Look me in the eye and tell me, ‘Captain Smart, you are fooling, so stop it.’ Don’t comfort me with lies, hurt me with the truth.”

Onua TV journalist, Captain Smart, has asserted that rebels in Burkina Faso will attack Ghana if they realize President John Mahama exhibits the same behaviour as former President Akufo-Addo.
