Ghanaian referee Laadi Issaka Black has reached another major milestone in her officiating career after receiving her first-ever appointment in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the United States.

Issaka Black will take charge of Saturday night’s league encounter in Houston, marking a significant achievement for the experienced Ghanaian official as she continues to rise on the international stage.

The appointment highlights her growing reputation in global football officiating following several impressive performances in continental and international competitions. Her selection for an NWSL fixture is also seen as a positive development for Ghanaian refereeing, with local officials increasingly earning recognition abroad.

Known for her calm authority and consistency on the field, Issaka Black has steadily built a strong profile through years of dedication and hard work.

Her latest assignment is expected to further boost her international credentials while inspiring upcoming female referees in Ghana and across Africa.

The NWSL is regarded as one of the top women’s football leagues in the world, featuring elite players and officials from different countries.
