Today sees a Ghanaian producer, Joker Nharnah, born Joshua Aime Adjei and one of the most influential sound architects shaping the new wave of African music, step into a bold new chapter with the release of his debut single, ‘LUCKY’, which features his long-time collaborator and BET Award-winning artiste, Black Sherif.

Renowned for crafting most of Black Sherif’s globally defining moments through his sound with production credits to Kwaku The Traveller, Konongo Zongo, Soja, Run, Changes, Soma Obi, Zero and other notable productions for Blaqbonez on Road Runners.

Joker Nharnah has positioned himself as an unstoppable sonic outlaw, redefining the landscape and sounds emanating from Africa, being at the helm of affairs as part of the young wave of producers on a global ascent.

Speaking on the release, the multi-award-winning Ghanaian superstar, Black Sherif, intimated, “I’ve been on a daring musical journey with Joker, and it’s just poetically excellent that LUCKY is our first single together as artists.

The song represents how we feel about ourselves as creators, students and basically as guys who really genuinely love this music thing.”

The production on ‘LUCKY’ by Joker Nharnah featuring Black Sherif goes between smooth grooves and lively percussion, giving the record a warm, sun-soaked feel that pays homage to classic highlife while pushing its rhythms into a modern, global-ready space.
