Ghanaian officials Selorm Yao Bless and Theophilus Aberenga Akugree have been appointed to oversee the WAFU B U-17 AFCON qualifying match between Benin and Nigeria, scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast.
Yao Bless will serve as the centre referee, with compatriot Aberenga Akugree assigned as Assistant Referee 1. Togo’s Mifitahou Amidou will act as Assistant Referee 2, while Niger’s Zouwaira Souley Sani Souley has been named the fourth official.
Ivorian Agathe Athacou has been appointed as the Match Commissioner and Issaka Boubacar of Niger will serve as Referees Assessor.
Burkina Faso’s Juste Ephrem Zio will fulfill the role of General Coordinator, with Patrick Akoto of the Ghana Football Association acting as Assistant General Coordinator.
The match is set to take place at the Lycée Scientifique de Yamoussoukro, promising an exciting clash in the U-17 continental qualifiers.
