Ghanaian actress and movie producer Kafui Danku has said that most Ghanaian men are more interested in DNA paternity tests than living happily with their families.

Kafui Danku said this during an appearance on Channel One TV where she observed that men are now more inclined to seek DNA confirmation, unlike in the past when families lived harmoniously without such tests.

“Men of these days are interested in DNA tests… unlike those days when there were no DNA…. families were living happily… life was good,” she said.

Kafui Danku also noted that betrayal is not limited to marriages but can occur in friendships as well.

“Betrayal was not just in marriages…we have them in friendships too,” she added, emphasising the broader implications of trust and loyalty in relationships.

DNA, the molecule that carries genetic information, is becoming crucial in confirming paternity with certainty.

Social media has been awash with stories of men discovering their children are not theirs after taking paternity tests.

Kafui Danku, known for her roles in movies like “Any Other Monday,” “Alvina: Thunder and Lightning,” and “I Do,” as well as her book “Silence Is Not Golden,” is currently promoting her new movie “Fear Women.”

The film features a star-studded cast, including Kobi Rana, Clinton, Salma Mumin, James Gardner, and Bella Agyemang.

Additionally, she is set to release another movie titled ‘Look’ on November 1, 2024.
