Fast-rising Afrobeat and Highlife artiste Kay9ice has dropped a heartfelt new single titled “Mind Games”, dedicated to Nigerian superstar Davido and his wife Chioma.
The track is a special release off his much-anticipated upcoming album, BIG 5, which features top musicians including Adina, Sista Afia, Bisa Kdei, Amerado_burner, Ganyo Dread, Kamelyeon to mention but few.
Kay9ice in his recent interview reveals the inspiration behind Mind Games comes from watching Davido and Chioma’s journey as a couple over the years.
He describes them as “a perfect example of love that has stood the test of time,” adding that their story motivated him to put his feelings into music.
Beyond the dedication, Kay9ice also states a personal wish in the song, to one day find his own “Chioma,” a woman who will stand by him through life’s ups and downs.
With BIG 5 on a highest expectation, Mind Games offers fans a taste of what’s to come from the official project.
