Ghana’s national futsal team will take centre stage on February 3 when they lock horns with Zambia in a decisive 2026 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match at the UCC Sports Hall (Sports Gymnasium).

The fixture represents a significant moment for Ghana’s growing futsal programme, with the Black Stars Futsal team hoping to make home advantage count in their quest to reach Africa’s premier futsal tournament.

Backed by strong local support, Ghana will be aiming to produce a disciplined and energetic performance to edge closer to qualification.

The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 4pm and is expected to attract keen interest as both sides push for continental qualification.

After Tuesday’s clash, Ghana and Zambia will meet again in the reverse fixture in Lusaka, Zambia, with a place at the 2026 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations at stake.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the match officials for the qualifier. An all-Senegalese refereeing team will officiate the game, led by referee Elhadji Dieme.

He will be assisted by Mouhamadou Mansour Mbacke as second referee, Bintou Badji as third referee, and Papa Wongue Mbengue as reserve assistant referee. Alioune Dabo will serve as the timekeeper, while Robert Mangollo Mvoulou of Gabon has been appointed as the Match Commissioner.
