Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku registered his name on the scoresheet for Leicester City despite defeat against Oxford United in the English Championship clash on Saturday.

The Black Stars winger started and played full throttle of the match, as the Foxes succumbed to a 2-1 home defeat to Oxford United at the King Power Stadium.

Despite the loss, the former Sporting CP attacker emerged as one of the standout performers for the home team.

Oxford United wasted no time in opening the scoring at the King Power Stadium, with Sam Long netting the first goal after just four minutes into the match after being set up by Ciaron Brown.

In the 71st minute mark, the visitors found the back of the net through Mark Harris to extend their lead in the highly competitive clash.

Few minutes to full time, the Ghanaian international found the back of the net to reduce the deficit for the home team after being set up by Luke Thomas.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker has been outstanding for Leicester City this season, scoring six goals and delivering seven assists in 29 appearances in the English Championship this season.
