The Black Stars face Japan in the 2025 Kirin Challenge Cup at Toyota Stadium in Aichi as part of preparations to keep the team in shape for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match promises to be a cagey encounter as both teams battle for glory while also assessing the performance of their players ahead of the Mundial.
The Black Stars are going into the game without key players such as Thomas Partey, captain Jordan Ayew, Kudus Mohammed, and others due to injuries, while some are being rested.

The Black Stars will later take on South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
