    Black Starlets coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has invited 25 players for the first stage of screening ahead of next year’s U17 Cup of Nations.

    The former Asante Kotoko gaffer led Ghana back to the competition after finishing as runners-up at the WAFU Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

    The 25 players invited are expected to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Monday, November 10, 2025.

    The players will train and play friendly matches for one week before making way for other players.

    Subsequently, the best players will be selected to join the squad for the tournament.

    Ghana is making a return to the AFCON U17 for the first time in eight years and will be hoping to qualify for the World Cup in 2026.

    The next edition of the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place in Morocco in April next year.
