The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa, has held a productive and uplifting meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ghana, Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Dhakel, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

The discussions focused on enhancing diplomatic, economic and cultural relations and exploring new areas of mutual interest that will further strengthen the long-standing partnership between Ghana and Saudi Arabia.

Following the meeting, Ablakwa expressed optimism about the outcome of the engagement, describing it as “positive and forward-looking.”

He hinted at a major announcement to be made when his Saudi counterpart, the foreign minister, visits Ghana later this month, emphasising that the negotiations are being conducted “forcefully in the best interest of all Ghanaians.”

“Ghanaians and Saudis are going to love what we shall be announcing when my counterpart visits Ghana later this month,” Ablakwa said.

“Cheers to our stronger Ghana–Saudi Arabia partnership”, he concluded
