Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey delivered a commanding performance for Arsenal on Tuesday night, playing the full 90 minutes in his team’s 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League.

Partey, who has been a key figure for the Black Stars and Arsenal, was included in the starting lineup for this crucial Group Stage match at the Emirates Stadium.

Demonstrating his trademark resilience and skill, the midfield enforcer helped his side control the pace of the game from start to finish.

The Gunners secured the win courtesy of an own goal by Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk in the 29th minute.

While the margin of victory was narrow, Partey’s presence in midfield was pivotal to Arsenal maintaining their lead throughout the match. His ability to break up play, distribute the ball, and shield the defense ensured that Shakhtar struggled to create clear opportunities.

The win boosts Arsenal’s campaign, giving them seven points after three matches in this season’s UEFA Champions League. With this victory, the Gunners strengthened their chances of advancing to the knockout stage of the competition.
