Ghana international Lawrence Agyekum has emerged as a top transfer target for French clubs Strasbourg and FC Nantes following a standout season.

The Black Stars midfielder has attracted interest from several European clubs after an impressive campaign with Belgian side Cercle Brugge.

Agyekum joined Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan from Red Bull Salzburg last summer and has since established himself as a key player.

Since his arrival, he has made 44 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

His consistent performances have not gone unnoticed, drawing interest from clubs including Strasbourg and Nantes, who are keen to sign the Ghanaian midfielder this summer.

Meanwhile, Cercle Brugge are eager to retain Agyekum beyond his loan spell, with a purchase option clause included in the agreement.

The Belgian club is expected to exercise that clause, but interest from France could complicate negotiations.

While Agyekum’s next move remains uncertain, it is clear that his development in Belgium has caught the attention of clubs across Europe, setting the stage for a possible move to one of the continent’s top leagues.
