Ghana ended their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers as one of the worst-performing teams in the series.

The four-time African champions joined Eswatini, Chad, Madagascar, and Namibia as the five countries that failed to record a single win in the qualifiers.

The Black Stars recorded three losses and three draws in six games, including two home defeats to Angola and Niger.

Ghana, regarded as an African football powerhouse, finished bottom of their group, which included Angola, Sudan, and Niger.

The other four nations, like Ghana, finished last in their groups, with none amassing more than three points.

Meanwhile, the Central African Republic, Cape Verde, Libya, Liberia, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Malawi also finished bottom of their respective groups but managed to secure at least one win.

The 2025 AFCON qualifiers concluded on November 19, 2024, with all 24 teams set to participate in the tournament confirmed.

The Black Stars are the biggest absentees from the competition, which is scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
