Ghana forward, Antoine Semenyo delivered another solid performance on Sunday, December 8, 2024, playing the full 90 minutes in AFC Bournemouth’s dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Ipswich Town at Portman Road in the English Premier League.

The match began with Ipswich taking the lead in the 21st minute. Conor Chaplin capitalised on a clever pass from Cameron Burgess, firing a low shot into the net to make it 1-0.

Despite the setback, Bournemouth remained resilient, with Semenyo contributing significantly to their attack.

Bournemouth’s persistence paid off late in the game. In the 87th minute, Enes Ünal capitalised on a loose ball in the penalty area, calmly slotting it into the bottom right corner to level the score. The visitors then completed their remarkable comeback deep into stoppage time. Dango Ouattara kept his composure in a crowded box to secure the winner in the 95th minute, sparking celebrations from the away supporters.
