Ghana international Antoine Semenyo returned to the Bournemouth starting eleven on Thursday, December 5, 2024, when the team defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in the English Premier League.

Semenyo missed Bournemouth’s 4-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend after serving a one-game suspension for accumulating five yellow cards.

The caution came in the Cherries’ 1-2 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Having served the suspension, Antoine Semenyo started for his team in the Round 14 encounter against Spurs.

Dean Huijsen scored the game’s only goal in the 17th minute after Marcus Tavernier set him up.

In the game against Tottenham Hotspur, Antoine Semenyo played 85 minutes before David Brooks took his place.

The Black Stars striker has scored four goals and provided one assist after making 13 appearances in the English Premier League.
