Defender Maxwell Woledzi has been named in the Team of the Year in Norway.

The Right to Dream Academy starred for Fredrikstad at they ended the campaign in sixth place before crowing it with the Norway Cup, which places them in the qualifiers for the Europa League.

Woledzi, who joined the Norwegian side in the summer of 2023 from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes, made 29 appearances in the 2024 campaign. He made 54 interceptions, placing him second on the stats table.

The 23-year-old was a stalwart in the heart of defence for Fredrikstad, earning him a place in the best eleven of the season.

The former Ghana youth player is already attracting interest from top clubs in Norway and around Scandinavia.

However, his current deal with Fredrikstad ends in the summer of 2026.

Woledzi is part of players groomed by the Right to Dream Academy before moving to Nordsjaelland in Denmark. He was teammates with Mohammed Kudus, Mohamed Diomande and Simon Adingra.
