Ghana has clinched the bronze medal at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup following a win against Niger in their third-place playoff match at the tournament.

The tournament kicked off early this month at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Ghana.

After several exciting matches, the tournament is coming to a close on July 23, 2025, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

In the third-place playoff match, host nation Ghana locked horns with Niger to battle for the bronze medal.

At the end of a fierce battle between the youth national teams of the two countries, the Ghana U20 side, nicknamed the Black Satellites, triumphed with a 2-0 victory, taking home the bronze medal.

Later tonight at 7 pm, defending champions Ivory Coast will face off with Nigeria in the final of this year’s WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup. The match will also be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
