On March 21, 2025, the Black Stars of Ghana delivered a dominant performance, crushing Chad 5-0 in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The emphatic win keeps Ghana’s qualification hopes alive, especially after Madagascar and Mali’s recent victories intensified the pressure on Otto Addo’s squad.

Antoine Semenyo set the tone early, scoring just two minutes into the game with a clinical finish.

Ghana continued their attacking dominance, doubling their lead in the 31st minute through Iñaki Williams.

Jordan Ayew extended the advantage five minutes later, capitalizing on a defensive mistake to put Ghana 3-0 ahead by halftime.

The Black Stars maintained their relentless momentum in the second half.

Mohammed Salisu added a fourth goal in the 56th minute and Ernest Nuamah then sealed the victory in the 68th minute, calmly slotting home the final goal of the night.
