“We’re maintaining the same team for the CAA U18/U20 African Athletics Championship in Nigeria,” Fuseini stated during a recent interview on Sporty Breakfast.

The championships, which will feature 937 athletes and officials from 43 African nations, promise to be a vibrant display of youthful energy and talent.

Ghana will join athletics powerhouses such as Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Egypt, alongside other strong contenders like Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon, Senegal, and Uganda.

The CAA U18/U20 Championships, initially scheduled to be held in Oran, Algeria, were relocated to Abeokuta due to logistical challenges, marking a significant opportunity for Nigeria to solidify its reputation as a hub for sports development in Africa.

Ghana’s participation underscores its dedication to youth development and international competition, setting the stage for a thrilling showcase of talent in Abeokuta.
