President of Ghana Athletics, Bawah Fuseini, has been awarded the prestigious title of Best Leader of the Year by the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA). This recognition is a testament to his outstanding leadership and contributions to the development of athletics in Ghana and across Africa.

The awards ceremony, held over the weekend, brought together international athletes, coaches, and officials to celebrate remarkable achievements and contributions to the sport.

In March 2024, Ghana successfully hosted the 13th Africa Games, where the athletics events took center stage. The competitions were widely praised for their exceptional organization, impressive attendance, and enthusiastic public support. The packed stadium created an electric atmosphere, reminiscent of major international sporting events. Fuseini’s leadership was instrumental in this success, earning him widespread acclaim.
