The Ghana Football Association has announced the appointment of Maxwell Konadu as the head coach of the national U-20, the Black Satellites.

Konadu brings a wealth of experience to the role, having managed several top-flight clubs in the Ghana Premier League. His coaching résumé includes stints with Asante Kotoko, Eleven Wonders, Legon Cities and most recently Nsoatreman FC.

Maxwell Konadu now comes into his new role as the replacement of coach Desmond Ofei who is currently part of technical team of the Black Stars.

“Konadu will be assisted by Nations FC deputy coach Johnson Smith and Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon. The newly constituted technical team also includes Kelvin Agyemang, who will serve as Goalkeepers Coach.”

“The appointment of Maxwell Konadu is expected to bring renewed energy and tactical direction to the Black Satellites as Ghana continues to build competitive youth teams for the future,” part of the statement from the GFA read.
