Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is confident that the Black Stars will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.

According to Agyemang-Badu, the Black Stars despite failing to qualify for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco have been in a good form in the World Cup qualifiers and will not disappoint the country again.

In an up close interview on Joy Prime’s “Changes show”, Badu noted through signing that ”Go get your passport, Ghana is qualifying for the World Cup—I know we will.”

Otto Addo names squad for World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali

Meanwhile, Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has announced his squad for the September window FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

Ghana will face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno in N’Djamena on September 4 before hosting Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.
