Match Week 2 of Group A delivered excitement, dominant performances, and standout individual displays as teams battled for crucial points at the UG Sports Stadium warm-up pitch on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The opening fixture between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club (GAFOSC) was packed with attacking action, with GAFOSC running out convincing winners after scoring five goals.

Lac Eric Oduro (jersey 23) got on the score sheet, while Sgt Amoh Micheal (jersey 10) netted twice. Additional goals from Ab1 Prince Kwabena Painstil (jersey 19) and Sqn Ldr Leslie Yanley completed an entertaining, high-scoring encounter.

It was a one-sided affair in the second game as the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) cruised to a commanding 5–0 victory over the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Prince Aboagye (jersey 10) led the charge with two (2) goals, while Ashitey Amarh Jeffery (jersey 26), Samuel Aferi (jersey 9), and Ebenezer Kulley (jersey 3) each added one to seal a dominant performance.

The GOIL PLC edged past Lancaster Accra 1–0 in a tightly contested match. Goalkeeper Richard Appiah emerged as the unlikely hero, converting a penalty to secure all three points for GOIL.
