    Popular Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has shared multiple posts on her social media page to honor her mother’s memory 2 years after her passing.

    Her post which sparked an outpouring of condolences from her fans and colleagues reflects how the actress deeply misses her mother.

    Recall that Funke had tragically lost her mother in February 2023, though the circumstances surrounding her mother’s death weren’t disclosed.

    In the post shared on her Instagram, she revealed in the caption that she deeply misses her mother and it still feels like a dream.

    Her caption read;

    “Mum It’s been two years since you left us. It’s still like a dream, my darling mother. I miss you so much!! Keep resting in peace!”

    Her post which featured a video collage of her late mother, captured the actress dancing and singing with her mother amongst other clip.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Thank you mummy for the gift of Aunty Funke, she is a great source of inspiration to us. May God continue to rest your soul ma.”

    “Sending you love and strength today, Aunty. It’s been two years, but the love and impact of a great mother never fade. May God continue to comfort you and give you peace. Her legacy lives on through you. Stay strong, aunty.”

    “May her soul rest in peace, She’s definitely smiling at you from heaven and She’s super proud of you Aunty Funke”
