When the inaugural World Boxing Championships took place in Liverpool from September 4–14, 2025, Protocol Sports played a central role in distributing and delivering the event to audiences around the world.

TV2GO International, Protocol Sports’ transmission division, was appointed the official transmission partner for the championships. The live signal was collected from BT Tower in London and routed to our Toronto broadcast hub, where it was distributed to more than 20 international broadcasters including Eurosport, Fox Sports Australia, Globo, and more. To support reliable global delivery, TV2GO combined European satellite uplinks with IP transmission via SRT.

With two rings operating simultaneously and competition running for up to 12 hours per day, our team managed the complex scheduling, signal routing and distribution required to keep both feeds available to broadcast partners throughout the event.

Protocol Sports Marketing also led the event’s international media-rights distribution, securing coverage with broadcasters including Eurosport, the European Broadcasting Union, Fox Sports Australia, Globo, CazéTV, TRT, and others.

From rights sales and signal acquisition to international distribution, Protocol Sports helped bring the first World Boxing Championships to viewers across the globe.
