Ghanaian dancehall star Grace Kaakie Awo Aidoo (née Ocansey), popularly known as Kaakie, has successfully traded the mic for medical excellence after announcing she has achieved her second Master’s degree in Nursing.

The “Too Much” hitmaker has shared stunning photos from her graduation ceremony to celebrate her latest academic milestone with profound gratitude.

Kaakie completed her advanced degree as a Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at the Minneapolis-based Walden University in May.

She officially celebrated the achievement with the graduation ceremony, marking her transition into a specialized healthcare role.

Taking to social media, the singer expressed her joy and her new professional direction:

“From Healing hands to Healing Minds// Your favorite Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner . God Clocked that!”

The second master’s degree marks an extraordinary achievement, particularly given the many roles Kaakie juggled during her studies. In an earlier post celebrating her completion in May, she reflected on the immense dedication required.

“Guess who bagged a Second Masters! I am so proud of myself, my journey, and how God has positioned me to STAY!” she wrote.

She acknowledged the critical support system that enabled her success, praising her husband:

“I thank my husband for being such a strong support system and for thriving in my growth. It was not easy working, schooling, being a mom, a wife, and a small business owner.”

Kaakie’s achievement is being widely celebrated online as an inspirational story of tenacity and the successful pursuit of diverse passions, proving that success in the arts can seamlessly transition into a highly specialized professional career.
