The Ghana Merit Awards has announced its nominations for the prestigious Best Film Director category, and this year’s list includes some of the industry’s finest talents. These filmmakers have each made significant contributions to the growth and global appeal of African cinema, and their nominations highlight a year of outstanding storytelling, artistic excellence, and cinematic achievement.
The 2025 Ghana Merit Awards ceremony promises to be a celebration of creativity, passion, and dedication in the Ghanaian film industry.
