Fox Sports has given Tom Brady the first assignment of his third season as an NFL commentator.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion is set to enter year three of his decade-long, $375 million contract as Fox’s lead NFL color analyst.
And on Week 1 he will be in Philadelphia to watch the Eagles take on the Washington Commanders on September 13.
Brady will be joined by Fox’s top team, including play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
The first ‘America’s Game of the Week’ of the new season, a showdown between two NFC East rivals, will kick off at 4:25pm ET from Lincoln Financial Field.
Brady showed major improvement in his second season as an analyst and earned rave reviews for his performance in the NFC Championship game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Back in January, Brady also revealed the changes he made in a desperate quest to change his fortunes as a TV analyst.
He admitted that he would overload himself with countless sheets of notes that would hinder his natural actions.
‘I used to say, “All the stuff I prepared, I could read from start to finish in a three-hour broadcast, and I wouldn’t get through all the information,”‘ Brady told The Athletic.
His reliance on his notes, which he called ‘TMI’ (too much information), meant Brady couldn’t react quickly and naturally to the action that was unfolding in front of him, limiting the insight viewers would be tuning in for.
Last year, Brady said that he tried to approach broadcasting like a quarterback, changing his outlook on the job.
‘I started to transition this year into, “Let me do more of how I did it as a quarterback,” because that’s really where my comfort is,’ Brady said during his interview with The Atletic. ‘As opposed to, ‘Let me try to prepare as a broadcaster.”
Brady also made slight tweaks and changes in the booth to facilitate his partnership with co-commentator Kevin Burkhardt. He had the telestrator moved from the outside of the booth to between him and Burkhardt to facilitate a more natural flow of conversation.
The move meant that the pair were no longer having to turn their backs on one another to view the monitor for replays.

Is Tom Brady really earning his massive Fox contract, or could someone else do a better job in the booth?
Brady officially kicked off his ’40s farewell tour’ on Monday during a luxurious vacation with his three children.
Brady turned 49 on Monday and celebrated on his lavish yacht surrounded by his lookalike kids Jack, 18, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, and what appeared to be some of their friends.
In a photo shared on Instagram, Brady was seen opening some gifts next to the pool on the boat as his kids and their buddies watched on.
‘Birthday presents from the best kids in the world,’ he wrote as the caption along with a love-heart emoji.
‘That’s called R.O.I [Return On Investment],’ Brady then joked.
Other snaps from the yacht trip include Vivian playing water volleyball with some friends and Brady showing off his athletic ability while out surfing.
