Harrison’s Mizpah Academy in Akyem Saamang, Eastern Region

Founder of the East Legon Football Academy (ELFA), Winston Yeboah Danso, has emphasized the importance of combining education with talent development, stressing that the two must go hand in hand in shaping the future of young people.

According to Winston Yeboah Danso who donated educational materials to graduates of Harrison’s Mizpah Academy at Akyem Saamang in the Eastern Region, nurturing talent without a solid educational foundation often leaves young people unprepared for life beyond sports.

“Education and talent development are causes I’ve dedicated myself to supporting over the years just like i do for sports. I believe in nurturing talent, whether in academics or football, and I encourage more individuals and organizations to join hands in uplifting less privileged communities,” he said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Headmaster Pastor Eric Antwi expressed heartfelt appreciation to Yeboah Danso.

He praised him for his continuous generosity and commitment to supporting students in a relatively remote community.

The items donated by Winston Yeboah Danso included school bags, stationery, scientific calculators, and other essential learning materials to aid their academic journey.

Since its establishment, East Legon Football Academy has participated in Denmark’s Dana Cup three times, winning two trophies.

This aligns with the club’s plan to provide young players with a solid platform to develop and showcase their talent.
