Foster Romanus says the narrative about 'the street' has to change Foster Romanus says the narrative about ‘the street’ has to change

Comedian and media personality, Foster Romanus, is gearing up for the 6th edition of his annual show, Romanus Incomplete, set for December 23, 2024, at the National Theatre in Accra.

The event promises an exciting mix of music and comedy, with a theme that celebrates ‘the streets’ and the positive energy they represent.

This year’s theme, ‘The Streets,’ aims to change the often-negative narrative associated with urban environments. “The street is often seen as a place for hooligans, thugs, and criminals,” Romanus explained, “but we want to show that the street is where dreams are born, where resilience thrives, and where some of the most brilliant talents emerge.”

Romanus highlighted that many successful individuals, including football star Asamoah Gyan, have risen from the streets, and the event will shine a light on these untold stories. “The street represents those who aim higher despite the challenges, and that’s something to celebrate,” he said. “The street always wins because it’s where the real hustlers are.”

In addition to the entertainment, Romanus Incomplete aims to use the funds raised to support individuals who are talented but still struggling on the streets to make ends meet. The goal is to provide opportunities for those with potential, helping them further their education or develop their skills in a meaningful way.

As the event continues to grow in popularity, this year’s edition promises to be another entertaining and impactful celebration of music, comedy, and street culture.
